Brad Starken joined Miller Financial Group, Inc. in the Fall of 2020. Brad brings over nine years of experience in the financial field, with emphasis in banking, financial planning, and annuities. He is a graduate of Wayne State College, where he obtained a Finance Degree while succeeding as a college athlete on the Wildcat basketball team. He carries his Series 7, Series 66 securities registrations, along with his life and health licenses.
As a financial advisor, he believes it is important to invest his time to understand what you are working toward before you invest your money. As an athlete, he believes in hard work, determination, as well as a teamwork mentality when serving his clients. Brad has a passion for helping others and believes you must first define what’s most important when designing strategies for his clients. Whether that includes, making sure you've saved enough for retirement, leaving something for your heirs, putting your children through college or some other financial goal.
Brad is a Wisconsin native, but put down his Nebraska roots when he met his wife, Shelby, while they both attended Wayne State College. Brad and his wife have a daughter Sawyer, and four-legged baby, their black lab Cash. Brad and his wife enjoy watching and attending sporting events, and a good ole dive bar! Brad has excelled in basketball, racquetball, and sand volleyball, but recently has been working on his golf game.
